I’ve produced every type of video you can think of over the past year, objective-wise. Short form, long form, cooking, DIY, podcast, blogging, talking head, etc. You name it, I’ve tried it.
I was deliberately experimenting with different video formats to see why video editing is so difficult.
I found one thing to be true for almost every shape. I had two inputs to go into editing:
1 – Very raw footage.
2 – An idea of the video I wanted to make.
To this day, the only way to make my idea a reality was to re-watch all the footage to find the moments I envisioned in my head.
Today, this is no longer the case. Reid and I are launching Click to bridge the gap between these inputs, and allow you to edit video through conversation.
Just upload the footage, describe the story you want to tell, and get an edit in seconds.
From here you can add finishing touches via conversation edits, AI search, our AI storyboard, or a traditional timeline.
It has cut 90% of the time I spend editing almost any format and we are literally just getting started.
