Apple is going high-end with new ‘Ultra’ products next

After launching the low-cost MacBook Neo, Apple is reportedly developing at least three new products that will fit into its high-end “Ultra” lineup. According to BloombergOf According to Mark Gorman, the next batch of releases may not carry the same “Ultra” name as his watch, but all will command a price premium over their mainline counterparts.

Rumors include a foldable iPhone, expected to cost around $2,000, and a touchscreen MacBook Pro supposedly set for fall. They are very straightforward plays for the high end of the market. More interesting are the next-generation AirPods, which are rumored to include cameras to give Siri visual context. Since AirPods already use the Pro and Max branding, like Apple Silicone, a set of AirPods Ultra could very well be in the docket.

Between the Neo and multiple foldables in the works, it looks like Apple is trying to move further up and down the market simultaneously.
