WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. President Joe Biden will focus on keeping the government open, delivering assistance for hurricane-affected communities and passing the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for the remainder of his term, the White House said on Thursday.

“That’s going to be certainly our focus in the next 74 days,” spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters, ahead of President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration in January.
