Ayushman award for Bhopal for ‘health professional registration’, ET HealthWorld

Bhopal: Bhopal district has secured the first prize for outstanding work in health professional registration under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Health Mission.

Additionally, the district clinched second place in health facility registration.

This recognition is part of efforts to make health services more technically advanced and accessible to the public. The award was presented during a state-level program at RCVP Naronha Administration Academy. Chief Medical and Health Officer of Bhopal, Dr Prabhakar Tiwari, accepted the award on behalf of the district. The district has demonstrated rapid progress in registering health professionals and facilities. Those in health professions include all providers registered to work within government-recognized medical systems.

“Bhopal district has worked very fast in health professional and health facility registration. Health professionals include all those health service providers who are registered to work in medical systems recognized by the government,” stated Dr Tiwari.

“There are a large number of government and private health institutions in the district and a large number of health service providers work in them. Despite this, Bhopal has done a large number of registrations. 767 health institutions have been registered in the district. These include public and private sector health institutions including hospitals, clinics, pathology, radiology,” he added.
