When it comes to a toy that is intended to provide accessibility or inclusion, just like there is no disability. Few toys or brands are actually made with disabilities in the first place, there are exceptions Fuck you dear little onea queer, trans-, and disabled-owned sex toy brand. (I tested three toys from the brand above.)

So, instead, I thought about my own needs as someone with an upper limb disability, and I also talked to other people with disabilities, including those who use wheelchairs or people with reduced physical disabilities, to find out what they look for in their sex toys. This included tools such as slings, pillows and chairs to aid in positioning during sex (or solo play). (More on this below.)

Because I have vaginal and upper limb disabilities, I tested many toys aimed at people like me, but many, such as the app-connected G-spot and clitoral toys, have similar versions with the same app features, except for people who have a penis or prefer anal play.

I considered many factors at Intro, including weight, length, girth. Whether the toy was easy to hold or could be strung. If you can just lie on it or use it in multiple positions. And if it can be controlled by buttons (and how hard they can be to press), in an app, or with a remote control. Once the individual realizes what they need from the toy to work for their body and abilities, it will be easier to narrow down the toy that will work best.

I tested several sex toy holders, including ones that fit into a pillow for growing or lying down, and a sex toy holder that suctions to surfaces or straps in place. I also tried several toys that one could just grind, lie, or sit against.

I was not able to test Use of hand To hold the toy in your hand, because it didn’t fit my small hand, but it might be a more controlled way to hold a sex toy than using pillows, grinding, or using a surface mount.

Liberator wedge It was also highly recommended to me, but I wasn’t able to test it either. This angle pillow makes sex easier for those with awkward bodies or those with pain, as they can reach the angles and positions needed to relieve pressure. As I mentioned above, a pillow also helps achieve deeper penetration with partners with smaller penises or larger bodies, where it may be difficult to reach the genitals without additional support.
