“There can be no assurance that we will enter into definitive agreements with respect to OpenAI opportunities or other potential investments, or if any investments will be completed on anticipated terms, if at all,” Nvidia said in its latest 10-Q filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. “There can be no certainty as to whether we may ultimately invest in these or other strategic partnerships.”
In September, NVIDIA and AI startup Openai announced a letter of intent on a new partnership in which NVIDIA plans to invest as much as $100 billion in Openai to support AI data center capacity. No additional details about the deal were released after the announcement.
